I am a high school teacher in Georgia, and I am currently enrolled in a course to receive my Gifted Education Endorsement. Over the course of the next year, this blog will serve as a repository for information, instructional resources, and personal reflections on teaching gifted students. It is my hope that not only will I be able to return to this website to refresh my own knowledge and to further my own teaching abilities, but also that you will be able to find something useful for your classroom. Regardless of the makeup of the students you teach, on a fundamental level, this is a course about learning how to meet the needs of all learners–a goal which educators are challenged and obligated to achieve. If what you find here does not seem like a direct fit for your students, perhaps it can be fine-tuned to do so. We do not have to reinvent the wheel, but we can improve our practices to make navigation of teaching and learning increasingly more successful.
